Architecture
Because of the long, parliamentary history the Hague has some great architecture to offer. Noordeinde Palace is the living residence of the King of the Netherlands, in the Binnenhof the Dutch parliament is based and the peace palace houses the permanent court of Arbitration of the UN court of justice. The new City Hall of The Hague is a great example of new architecture in the city.
Around The Hague
Although the city centre of The Hague has a lot to offer, there are some notable places to visit around the city centre. The Hague is located next to the North Sea and with Kijkduin, Monster and Scheveningen it has some renowned seaside resorts. For families and waterslides enthusiasts the theme park Duinrell, with the tropical water park Tiki pool, provides entertainment for the whole day.
