The brief
A car that fits the lead role
Netflix was looking for a vehicle for the series Amsterdam Empire that perfectly matched the character "Betty", played by Famke Janssen: wealthy, influential and accustomed to luxury. The car had to be stylish and unmistakably sophisticated — an extension of her personality on screen.
After multiple presentations and consultations, the choice fell on our flagship: the extended Mercedes-Benz S-Class. A car that not only radiates luxury, but also offers ultimate calm and comfort.
What we delivered
More than just a car
Vehicle casting. Multiple presentations until it was a perfect match: the extended Mercedes-Benz S-Class as an extension of the character.
Driver in frame. A regular staff member selected for representativeness and professionalism, also visible on camera during shoots.
4 vehicles deployed. S-Class, Range Rover, E-Class, and BMW 7 Series for different scenes and production moments.
Flexible schedule. During the day, in the evening, and at night. A planning that continuously adapts to changes in the shooting schedule.
Approach
From casting to wrap
Flexibility and discretion throughout the entire production.
Vehicle casting and presentation
Multiple vehicles presented to the production. Based on appearance, comfort, and suitability for the character, the S-Class was selected.
Selection of driver for the camera
Cautious choice for a fixed person: representative, professional, and comfortable with visibility on camera.
Scaling of the vehicle fleet
In addition to the S-Class, a Range Rover, E-Class, and BMW 7 Series were deployed for various scenes and production moments.
30 filming days, continuous switching
Out of the 80 filming days, we were active for 30. Direct lines with our organization for quick changes in the shooting schedule.

Result
Visible on screen, invisible in the organisation
Discretion, representativeness and flexibility were central. In a world where timing and appearance are everything, we ensured that the vehicle and support seamlessly became part of the production process.
What began with one vehicle grew into a broader deployment with four cars and a permanent driver who was part of the production process.
Visible on screen, invisible in the organisation. Exactly as it should be.
